Inspired by the compelling story of Azeem Rafiq, who shed light on the urgent need for change in a sport historically marred by institutional racism and discrimination, Alistair Maiden has passionately championed this cause. Driven by his profound love for cricket, Alistair sees these academies as beacons of extraordinary diversity, firmly believing that race or religion should never hinder anyone from pursuing their passion for cricket.
