SYKE is pleased to announce the appointment of Trayce Marcelle as its first-ever Head of US. Trayce brings more than 20 years of experience, including 9 years with Axiom in Chicago, working in client-facing consultative roles related to process improvement, technology implementation and all areas of legal operations. She has advised clients in a wide range of industries, including public sector, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, technology, and large-scale private sector corporations.
Alistair Maiden, CEO & Founder of SYKE, comments: “Trayce has a unique skill-set and deep understanding of finance, legal, business, procurement and IT, so has the ability to translate legal requirements into something that makes sense to every area of the business. Our US clients are facing challenges of how to thrive and manage technology-driven change and Trayce has the perfect skills and depth of legal experience to support them.”
For over 10 years, Trayce has focused on optimisation and pre/post-transaction consulting for in-house legal teams at Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, including Dell and Kraft Heinz. She helps clients identify and implement strategies that drive improvement, lower cost, and optimise existing infrastructure (both resources and processes/technologies).
Alongside her work with SYKE, Trayce will also support LOD’s key clients operating in the US, helping them deploy new technology and ways of working. This follows the global tie-up between SYKE and LOD earlier this year. Together, SYKE and LOD advise numerous global businesses in the technology, financial services and consumer sectors that are active in North America.
Trayce Marcelle says: “I am very excited to join SYKE and to work with LOD because, quite often, engagements are stalled before obtaining significant momentum due to lack of resources to perform the work. You generate a strategy, align on intended outcomes and are ready to go but where do you go?
“SYKE has the infrastructure to support all levels of client engagements, which eliminates costly delays and allows for faster return on investment as the plan is built alongside the strategy. I can now work with a client and say, with confidence, that I know what something will cost, how long it will take and assure them of a quality outcome. I don’t think you get that anywhere else.
“They have great people and great ideas with a focus on doing the right thing which is, in my view, the only way to operate in a client environment. I am thrilled to be a part of a team that values their people as much as they value their clients and I cannot wait to get started.”
Tom Hartley, CEO of LOD, adds: “After joining forces earlier this year, SYKE and LOD have combined on multiple projects to help in-house teams excel. As someone incredibly passionate about what she does, Trayce lives by the mantra that the process must drive the technology. Understanding the specific needs of the businesses she works with is her forte, which allows her to provide workable recommendations in all areas. I’m confident she will make a great addition to the global SYKE and LOD team.”
